I graduated with a Masters degree in Education from Texas State University. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology from Texas A&M International University.
To me, teaching is not a job, but a hobby. My purpose in life is to help students learn to be independent, meta-cognitive thinkers. I want to teach them about the world and how to make it a better place. I want to show them that if they "believe" then anything is possible. I love being a part of the husky family.
As a teacher, I promise to leave marks, not scars, on my students. I want to leave marks that remind them that anything is possible as long as they put first things first and believe they can reach their goals. Marks that guide them to shore when they are lost at sea. Marks that remind them of how amazing they are and what a difference they can make in the world. Marks that remind them to seek to understand others around them before they judge or say words that leave scars. Marks that remind them to synergize and think win-win when working with others. The most important mark I want to leave is the mark of success!
